The Silk Road Cafés food is based on the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and reflects some of the countries represented in the museum. We also do soups, Panini and freshly made falafels each day. All our cakes, biscuits and breads are homemade and you will find mixed berry scones shoulder to shoulder with chocolate brownies, fruit tarts, fig cake and baklava.

Celiac: Over the last few years, we have noticed an increase in customers asking about celiac friendly food. According to the Coeliac Society of Ireland “Coeliac disease affects 1 in 100 people in Ireland” and that does not take into consideration the amount of people who benefits from a gluten free diet.  With this in mind we took the decision, that we needed to change our way of cooking and baking and have by now, changed our recipes, so we can provide celiac friendly food and cakes. Please ask our staff and they will guide you through what food is celiac friendly and what is not.
